I believe that leadership is a talent and that everyone has some, although in differing amounts. The challenge and the opportunity is to make sure clients have the tools and support necessary to develop this talent to its utmost potential.
My approach to leadership development is both personal and practical. It is also a product of real leadership experience.
I have over 20 years of organizational leadership experience including senior leadership roles at TransCanada Corporation and Penn West Petroleum. I also have experience in the not for profit sector having served as the President of the Calgary Military Museums Society, now Valour Canada. After over 30 years in different industries, sectors and environments, I am well aware of the varied challenges and responsibilities faced by leaders in today's business climate.
Service and community are both important to me and I just completed my second three-year term as a Senator at the University of Calgary. I am also Chair of the Board of Directors of the The Military Museums Foundation in Calgary.
